Life in General

I’m sure I’m rather glad not to have to survive in the wild. that would be harsh. But we have other things that bother us. I foolishly chose to look after a strangers dog. Which also means that one of my cats in living out in the cold at the moment. This dog today has thrown up on: The sofa upstairs [which is modular and it went down the cracks], my bedroom floor, By bed & bedding, the downstairs sofa, the hall way 5 times and the kitchen floor. The thing eats fucking everything.

And instead of

Getting a good nights sleep, I’m doing my blog. Why do I need a good nights sleep? Well cos I gotta say goodbye to my last remaining Grand Parent tomorrow morning. Not nice at all.

Worse still?

The fucking dog has to sleep on my bed as it wines like crazy otherwise, so I suspect I’ll get pucked on tonight.

On the bright side

I’ve ironed my shirt so I just have to wash and go at 8am.

Better still

Tomorrow night should be the best in show.

Darts Rule

Well it’s happened, I’m addicted to darts again, I’m sure it’s something to do with the dark nights. So how do I compare to my friends?

Simon: is on 23 to my 22, I was ahead for about 2 weeks by the tune of 4 games.  But now we are sooo close.

Tom: 6-0 to me last count, which is odd as in a lot of ways he is the better player.

Barington: 9-1 to him.  Pants and fucky - bolocks.  [NB since starting to write this Blog I have since tonked Barrie 4-2]

I’ve even found myself practising!  What is that all about? Not that it has helped me just yet, but I do feel that the time is close and my skills are becoming sharper.  Even Bazza and Laurie have bought darts. that has to say something.

Crimbo Shopping

All done.  Well other then I’ll likely need to get some oven bottom muffins and some-more OJ.  But my bit is done so the day should go a little bit like this:

10.30/11am Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with Bucks Fiz = Super Yummy.

Prep food and put the Turkey in the oven for the meat eaters.

11:30/12 Nip to the Marsh for a couple of pints with the boys and the neighbours.

2 Get thrown out the Marsh.

2.30 Stick the veg parcels in the oven.

3.30 Foods up dude.

4.30 Give out the gifts of Crimbo

5 Try and find energy to start the cocktails - I’m doing Dirty Martini’s.

7 Make way for beer and a vote on the first film.

9 More beer and another film - and some other guests.

11.30 Pass out?

Interesting But will it happen like that?

Other then Breakfast and the marsh? I don’t know :)

Nanny Freda Passed away this morning

The world is down one mighty gravy chef, and a loving grandmother to more children then I care to count. I think I had a feeling that it was her time. And I am pleased that I went to see her last week. I do feel sorry for my mum and her brother and sister though. Christmas is a tough time to be dealing with funerals it’s not going to be a fun period for a lot of people. Nan however was not looking forward to christmas so perhaps it is better for her this way.

Whilst I don’t believe in any god

I know she did and that if she is right, she will be with her mum right now receiving comfort. I loved my nan and I will miss her. But I have many great memories of her from my younger years. She had a great sense of fun in the day, and was always playing sports and being active with us. And then there was the fantastic Gravy and Mint source. I’ve tasted none better in my life.

Good bye Nanny, I hope you have found your better place.
