Sleep, or Lack of it!
Saturday, May 8th, 20105:03 am
And I’ve been awake for an hour or so, admittedly I went to bed around ten thirty last night. I probably slept strait away too, I was exhausted, which is down to the stress of getting ready for Cannes and the stupidity of getting two hours sleep watching the election on BBC1. I’ve never wanted anybody to fail quite as much as I have David Cameron. I dislike him and so much of what he stands for, nearly to the point of obsession. So I sit here and type in the hope of getting some more sleep. I’m to tired to go for a run, but if I do get back to sleep then I’ll not have time when I wake up before heading off to Southampton. Its not been a good exercise week for me I’m afraid.
Get yer Tux on man!
I really need to loose a few pounds if I’m going to get this bloody Tux on comfortably. It fits, just needs a bit more room for comfort. Which I guess means a lot more running! Its just so hard to get motivated sometimes. Especially as it’s really cold… Hmmm, perhaps that is why I cant sleep? Would make sense. Having said that I’ve got my duvet, a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms on, and the added warmth of the dog. Perhaps I’ve got too much going on in my head?
Good news
The document is nearly finished, though a couple of errors have recently been found that need fixing, I do think it is a very good document. And so it should be really. Camp site is booked and confirmed and we just need to pick up the tent to have all of that side of things sorted. I’m lucky enough to be, being looked after by one of my mentors who is very well connected and is, when he can, keeping me under his wing. I’m told I will be rubbing shoulders with many household names. I’m looking forward to meeting Mr. Muscle the most. On a more serous note, I really do feel terribly lucky that this amasing opportunity is in front of me and fully intend to make the most of every last second. I’m just so very close to achieving my dreams. Blimey, the start of them any way.
So Sleep
Yeah, perhaps it’s that busy head thing after all? That, how cold it is (May?), my noisy lodger and er, my busey head. I’m going to give it another go me thinks.
